Those lucky enough to have a ticket for this week’s Comic-Con gathering in San Diego will get their chance to own a new set of Star Trek posters. Four different portraits - Eric Bana (Nero), Zoe Saldana (Uhura), Chris Pine (Kirk) and Zachary Quinto (Spock) - were compiled to create the above image.

In a recent conversation with E!, director J.J. Abrams said the the sci-fi film will be more about the characters than the technology. “I never saw how Kirk and Spock became so connected. That’s what this movie does, and it does it with the entire family of the Enterprise. It’s not really about the visual effects.”

Decide if Star Trek was worth the delay when the movie releases on May 8, 2009.
