We didn’t forget about Jennifer Aniston’s movie project The Goree Girls, though we’ve received no word on it for two years, and it turns out the actress hasn’t forgotten, either. Aniston is still planning on starring in the film that will depict her as a country-western singer. A similar role landed Gwyneth Paltrow tons of attention, so why not Aniston?

Few things about the project are certain (like whether or not Jen will sing in it), but we do know it revolves around the real-life 1940s singing group The Goree Girls, who came together while incarcerated in a Texas prison. We also know that Kelly Rowland is co-starring, so chances that somebody's going to sing are pretty good.
