If you were one of the (rare) few who have not yet seen Inception, do not read ahead!!!

If you did see the movie, and still don’t want to know how it ended—don’t read ahead.

Now—if you are dying to know whether one of the possible theories critic Richard Roeper lists above is true, read after the jump.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio, actor Michael Caine (Miles) says he knows the answer to the film’s biggest mystery:

“[The spinning top] drops at the end, that’s when I come back on. If I’m there it’s real, because I’m never in the dream. I’m the guy who invented the dream.”

Question is: Would director/writer Christopher Nolan really tell the actors how the story ended ... or is Caine simply making his own assumptions about the film?
