Mischa Barton Bails on Film Producers

Someone please tell me - who is advising this girl???
Although Mischa Barton has had a chance to revive her career post-O.C. death, post-DUI bust…the actress has made series of blunders lately.
First she turned down a juicy part in the Joss Schwartz’s Gossip Girl (that part eventually eventually went to Michelle Trachtenberg), then her rep accused photographers of photoshopping cellulite onto her rear. Now she’s bailed on the people who were nice enough to employ her!
New York Post
According to director Roland Joffé, Mischa failed to help promote their new movie You and I at the Cannes Film Festival….even though she was in Cannes! (Need proof? See above photo.) Making matters worse - the film’s producers have not yet been able to Barton since. In an interview with BBC Radio, Joffé said the actress has been MIA in London.
“She hasn’t pulled out of interviews, she’s pulled out of everything . . . Her room is here, she is here, but trying to get the two together has just been impossible. We just don’t know where Mischa is.”
And while I could understand why Barton has regretted her cinematic choices (you can see a trailer for You and I below), she should at least honor her commitments. I mean there has to be audience for a movie about “two teen girls who meet and fall in love with each other at a Russian pop concert in Moscow.” Right?
BTW - Has anyone checked the spas? Maybe she’s been working on removing the “photoshopped” cottage cheese from her thighs.
