The 65-year-old actress "hates" shopping and doesn't buy many clothes for herself, so she likes to wear the costumes donned by her screen alter-egos. "I really hate shopping. Maybe a handbag. I don't spend a lot of money on myself. I'm very lucky I can wear some of the costumes from the Patty Hughes character in the series Damages," she admitted.
Glenn has enjoyed a career which has spanned four decades, but she believes social networking website Twitter has had a huge impact on the film industry. The screen icon thinks micro-blogging site has made it harder to get certain types of movies commissioned, meaning independent films face more "challenges" than ever before.
"Studios make their money with Spider-Man and Transformers. The big movies make the money and they can't afford to make the smaller movies because of things such as marketing costs. There will always be independent films and there are the film festivals that are important venues for those movies but it's never going to be easy. It's challenging and I know there's an audience for independent films - but they're not in the 18 to 25 demographic. There are so many different ways to watch films now. If you don't have a movie that's Tweetable in the first five minutes you're told you've got a problem. People are always fascinated by stories. The challenge is there are a lot of things competing for people's attention against films."

The Oscar-winning actress stars alongside the Hollywood legend in new movie The Big Wedding and while they are close now, she admits she was quite wary of him when they first worked together many years ago.
"Mr. Robert De Niro. My god. A legend and also a dear man. He's very kind. It's like, oh, he's so kind. Why is he so kind? And he's quiet. But he's a lovely man. I really like him. He loves his family. You don't think of him that way when you only know him from a distance. I did a movie with him called Marvin's Room a long time ago, but he was a producer. I didn't really know him and he was intimidating to me. But things change."
Diane, 66, also revealed how she likes to walk around Los Angeles as that's when gets to listen to new music: "The kind of music I listen to is when I'm walking, because I walk all over the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. How else am I going to see it? If I don't drive, I take the dog and I listen to something. Right now I love the new Frank Ocean CD, Channel Orange. It's just amazing music. I also like the Jay-Z album with Kanye West. The last one - The Throne album. I just think that's so astonishingly beautiful, the way they orchestrate it. That's how I got to know who Frank Ocean was. Frank Ocean sang on one of the cuts. He [is] very orchestral in a weird way."

The Oscar-winning actor is playing the title role in Darren Aronofsky's new movie Noah, and sources say he is shunning many of the modern world's inventions in order to get into character from the biblical times. This includes not showering and or using deodorant, which has not gone down well with the other members of the cast and crew.
"He's been experimenting with skipping showers, which is something he did on Gladiator as well, to get an appropriately gritty look. He has to look like a very old, very weather man for this movie but you don't want to be inhaling when he walks past. He reeks!" one source said.
Russell has also gained 15lbs for the role, but sources say it is not helping his personal hygiene. "All of this is combining to make a pot pourri of foulness, and everyone is counting down the days until the project is done!" the source added.

The dark-haired beauty had to dye her locks for her part as teenage bride Marylou in the road movie about the Beat Generation, but said it was very difficult for her to get used to. "I feel like my whole body rejects it, but it was really important for the character. It was like learning an accent. I'm starting to carry a bag and even put on lipstick. Very mature for me."
In one steamy scene, Kristen's character is seen romping with two men, and while she finds the raunchy scenes "insane" to watch back, at the time of filming they felt natural: "It's kind of insane to watch now. I'm like, 'Who is that?' But I think - as every actress says when they do this is - it just felt so right. It was so within a different world and so within a different environment that I don't even really feel... I mean, I am personally connected to it, of course, but it is something outside of myself."
On the Road is based on the novel by Jack Kerouac, which follows the exploits of two young men traveling across the US in the 40s.

Though we're still a few months out from Halloween, people apparently like to be scared year-round. Even when it means paying money towards a film that looks like every other movie about an exorcism.
Either way, filmmakers of The Possession have done something right, as the movie has taken a hold of the number one spot at the box office this weekend, pulling in $17.7 million. The Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf vehicle - penned by Nick Cave - Lawless debuted at number two with $9.6 million while The Expendables 2 dropped two spots from last week's top spot with $8.8 million. The Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner in the latest Bourne installment, also dropped two slots from last week's number two spot with $7.2 million while the animated family film ParaNorman rounds out the top five with $6.5 million.

Shia LaBeouf Sent Sex Tapes to Score ‘Nymphomaniac’ Role

The 26-year-old actor claims he showcased a different aspect of his talents to the filmmaker by sending him intimate footage of himself and his girlfriend in order to land a role in the forthcoming movie, which is expected to include scenes of real sex.
"I don't know what it's gonna be until I get out there. I know he's a very dangerous director, I know we're trying to do something different. It's not your typical film. It's about what it's about. I sent him videotapes of me and my girlfriend having sex and that's how I got the job," he said, speaking on Chelsea Lately.
Shia has previously said Lars will make the cast do everything "for real" in the movie, and anything too explicit will be "blurred." He said, "[The movie] is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making. For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

The Anger Management star revealed he once tried to buy the rights to the comic book and star in a big screen adaptation featuring the superhero and his alter-ego Peter Parker, but he was talked out of it.
Speaking on podcast Mohr Stories, he told Jay Mohr, "I had an office at Orion and I brought them Spider-Man. I said 'Look, in a couple of years, I'll be too old to play Peter Parker. And they said, 'Yeah we're just thinking that cartoons are not the future, comic books are not the future.' And I said, 'But it's 'Spider-Man. I'm perfect.' I had a guy who was going to get the rights for me."
However, the company talked him out of the idea, which Charlie says is something they should regret after later going into bankruptcy. "They were like, 'Nah, we're gonna wait.' They didn't know s**t," he said.
Shia LaBeouf Continues to Slam Big Studio System

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has denounced the Hollywood studio system.
Explaining his efforts to steer his career towards more independent films, LaBeouf - who is set to star in the upcoming Lars Von Trier film Nymphomaniac - has slammed what he believes is an inability to be creative in the big-budgeted film environment.
"There's no room for being a visionary in the studio system. It literally cannot exist. You give Terrence Malick a movie like Transformers, and he's f****d. There's no way for him to exist in that world," he said.
LaBeouf did admit, however, to regretting his negative comments on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (which prompted his co-star Harrison ford to call him an idiot): "He [Steven Spielberg] told me there's a time to be a human being and have an opinion, and there's a time to sell cars. It brought me freedom, but it also killed my spirits because this was a dude I looked up to like a sensei."
