DreamGear i.Glow Review
We recently got the PS2 and Xbox versions of DreamGear’s new i.Glow controller and wanted to share our thoughts.  The DreamGear’s i.Glow controller is a standard wireless controller with an extra kick - it lights up with interesting effects! Check out our mini review after the jump.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS

At first glance, these controllers look very cool.  They’re adorned with a lightning type pattern, and the button and control layouts similar to what you would find on the official counterpart - a rarity in third party applications. The best feature, of course, is that they’re wireless.  The set-up is basic and easy.  Plug in the wireless receiver to your system, place batteries (4 x AAA) in the controller, turn them both on and off you go.

USING THE UNIT

The controller is very comfortable and handles very well.  It does take a little bit of adjustment to get used to, as the buttons have a bit of a “sticky” feeling. The controller doesn’t have any delay in transmitting commands wirelessly, which is very important for those games which require you to be on point.

THE VERDICT

DreamGear i.GlowAll in all this controller is really nice.  It has good form and quick response time, but there are a couple issues. The sticking button feel, the controller doesn’t have a spot for Xbox Live headset or memory card, and if you’re distracted by bright lights this isn’t the controller for you. For the little bit of issues we see with the controller we still really like it.  We give it an 9 out of 10.
