That is a fairly good price point for a product like that, but I would not buy a router now that isnt wireless-n… I was able to get a Belkin pre-n (not the offical standard though) but it was extremely fast, and I waited for it to go on sale—typically it is very pricey so I would not buy it at full price

I use a linksys wireless router now and have had no trouble out of it. LinkSys FTW

This should have a Broadcom chipset in it. I would suggest if you don’t like the performance out of the box to check out reflasing it with dd-wrt v24 (http://www.dd-wrt.com). I did this with a Buffalo (same chipset) router and have had really good luck with it.

Hmm, that’s not a bad price at all. Linksys is one of the best and well known names for routers and I have one sitting in the basement right now. 😊
@movvadinesh - Make sure to look around for online reviews on routers too and check out what others have to say before buying it. It is very helpful and informative, that’s for sure.

That’s a sleek looking router over there! Linksys routers are great quality. My WRT150N has a lot of security options and allows me to really secure my router. I can get a good range signal from almost anywhere in the house. If you plan on getting a router, go with Linksys! Their GUI configuration is so easy to configure and has many built-in options.

LinkSYS does awesome products with reasonable prices.
The best thing about LinkSYS routers is the advanced control panel and the fast rebooting and of course upgrading firmware is very safe.
But if you are going to compare it with NetGear, then NetGear wins 😛
