  • It’s good to know that Apple released all these updates for their MAC OS, I barely get any updates on Windows.  The update is big, but it looks like it’s worth the upgrade for the MAC users out there.

  • I currently am running 10.5.2, and will upgrade in a few minutes. Anyone who hasn’t used a stable os should try os x.
    You won’t be disappointed.

  • Its about time they updated it. Apple OS apparently is very unsafe after proven for by tests. If you want security, get Vista =)

  • “Fixes a font issue that could result in Helvetica Narrow being used in applications instead of Helvetica.”  Good thing they fixed that, I like my fonts fat.

  • See this is what I dont get, when Microsoft releases patches, they are completely bashed for doing so, with people attacking their software as “insecure” and “buggy” but Apple releases just as many fixes (if not more) but rolls it into one update so they avoid all the criticism.  Though I guess one could make the argument of severity…

  • @ BuckeyeFanatic25:  Severity is a major issue.  A lot of people try to argue against Firefox by saying it “has more security holes than IE”, but they fail to point out the Firefox’s “security holes” are insignificant and basically non-exploitable, where as IE’s bugs are gapping holes mostly concerning ActiveX.

I personally would rather have my updates small and frequent than delayed and huge.

  • That does seem like a big update, I’d have a cow at 420 MB update…lol. Are all their updates that size? I dont have a mac I have winxp.
