Thats what I need, but whats the chance of getting past Airport security with one? They never let me take batteries past, unless its a laptop battery connected to the laptop.

i think the battery is use to charge the battery in the device.
i already have one of this i just put it in my car and it charge like a charm

I already have one of these but they fail when needed.battery charging takes forever & the charge vanishes pretty quickly.

I’ve never had a problem getting batteries through Airport Security. Mind you, I do live in Canada, that may have something to do with it.

I forgot to charge my cell phone this morning, and so it died while I was at work… I could have definitely used this device today! I think I will buy one and put it in my car, just in case of emergencies
