I like the convienence of downloadable/streaming video. I use the instant viewing from netflix all the time. However the quality can’t compete with my Bluray player either. Unless bandwidth takes a serious jump ahead I don’t see the optical discs going away anytime soon.

I also like being able to download and watch.
But there is something to be said for the permanence of a disk.

Well, right now optical because I do not have the right setup, but eventually I would like to move to completely downloadable. It would be easier, cheaper, and quicker with the internet speeds in my area than driving to the video store or buying a DVD in a store.
