It has always been a dream of mine to have a cordless headset to listen to an mp3 player. However, I dont think this is the right approach. First of all, it is way too expensive (barely anyone is going to shell out $98 for a pair of headphones just b/c they are cordless). Second, I think they should be focusing on bluetooth and making bluetooth standard in mp3 players.
