Nice review 😊. But you can find the 1 gig duos for just over $100 (if you can find them in stock) at many online retailers. So for about twice the money you could have had 4 times the storage space. Or for another $10-20 you could have gone with the 512 which fits [converted] full length, great quality, movies.
The process of ripping your dvds and converting them isn’t all that hard and worth while if you already have a large dvd collection. At least I personally would rather buy the dvd of new movies and rip/convert them to have two versions of my movie rather than buy the umd’s. At least until the price comes down on the umds.
But another reason I like the large duo cards is because my sony cybershot camera takes the same media so paying a little extra for a nice larger card is great for both devices 😊.
