That is one unattractive case it comes with! I had to find a new one.
I bought myself a Kindle slipcase and travel case from Waterfield Designs and they’re both amazing. The pictures on their website don’t really do their bags justice. I was blown away by the quality. (They also called me to see if i wanted to switch colors since the color I chose was out of stock and would take a week to ship. Wow. I’ve never experienced customer service like that.) I recommend them if you’re looking for a better case.

I thought the case that came with the Kindle was hideous, to say the least. I did a lot of research, ended up ordering 2 cases, but kept the case from m-edge accessories.
It is great. I would recommend it to anyone looking to keep their kindle protected. From what I remember you can order the case in a ton of colors.
Trash that case that comes with the Kindle ASAP!

I like the case from Trendydigital.com. It is well designed with a unique compartment to hold the kindle. The frame also enhances the contrast of the LCD screen. The company also has a waterproof case for K1 and K2. This is a must to have for reading in beach or pool side for the summer.
