saw it tonight. wasn’t too entirely thrilled with it. it had some funny moments, the animation was done beautifully, but it just didn’t cut it.  the story was kind of bland, and I didn’t really feel any attachment to the characters. ah well, at least it looked pretty.

Thanks for the review.  If elt the characters were kind of dull too, based on the previews, so I wasn’t going to bother.  And the artwork seemed kind of too cluttery.  Movies are like $11 in NYC, especially when you pay for the moviefone reserve charge.

I know I hate those charges, they used to pay us by buying through moviephone.  (No charge with American Express and every 12th ticket was free)

i got to see it for 6 bucks, in dlp. ya you think watching a DLP tv is nice, try watching in a DLP theater. so pretty.

Well I didn’t think Blue Sky’s previous movie, Ice Age, was that great either.  I don’t have high expecations for this. :(  Too bad, their offices are right near me.
