ya, this is a very hard choice…i mean, while i usually go with cake, there are certain pies that will trump a cake anyday….but you know what? i have to have ICE CREAM with both :D |

pie… cherry pie is my fav.
I just started doing some baking (been cooking for years now) and made my first “from scratch” pie before christmas.
of course, it was cherry. 😊

Ok lets say you are at a party and you have cake. You have to go around asking people if they want cake.
If you have pie, eveyone goes toward the pie.
You have to pimp cake, pie pimps itself

No one eats pie anymore, and it makes me one sad, sad panda. What happened to da good, ol’ dayz when everyone would just eat pie?! It seems everyone eats pie only on holidays these days!!!! Remember back in the 1950’s when everyone would just eat pie?! What happened?!?! Where’d da love go?
Or is this just a regional thing? No one here eats pie anymore except for holidays/get-togethers! They sell them in supermarkets still as if they *were* consumed daily, but I’m not seein’ it! If you live in an area where pie is still eaten on a daily basis or something of the sort, please contact me!! My friend and I are freaking out about this :o LOL jk, but seriously, do y’all eat pies anymore?!?! |
