Evian was one of the first “premium” bottled water brands out there. I remember everyone joking about it, how funny it was to buy water….guess it aint so funny anymore….

so…does anyone drink tap water anymore? cuz i do if i’m at home…our water turns out to be good for you, its got flouride(keep the chompers going) and its apparently very clean water. my cousin works as a biochemist for the EPA and hooked me up with info on how good our water is. now other cities…they’re pretty nastified…

I do. I live above the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone. I drink water from an underground lake :mischeif: Our water is very tasty and good—plus, it has fluoride too 😛 But there was a debate as to whether or not we wanted that here. Apparently, in mass quantities, too much fluoride could be lethal, but you’d have to be drinking, like, a million glasses a day anyway, at which point you’d just drown  I don’t mind the fluoride. It honestly just doesn’t matter to me. LOL All I know is we get nice filtered (“recharged”) water from a glorious spring residing underneath the SA metropolitan area  (Sounds tasty, no?)

Fiji water is the best water ever. I’ve never tasted anything like it. Seriously, I’d give up sodas and everything else if that water was cheaper. One of my friends gave me a bottle of it, and it taste great.

i like desani. but then again we have a contract with coke, and its cheap. $0.25 a bottle. so maybe i’m just price biased. But I never really liked aquafina, or naive…..i mean evian. And I agree that deer park sucks. never had fiji. and I never tried any of the “generic” store brand types like sams, wal-mart, or any other things like that.

I’d have to say Fiji… really good. Expensive but good. I’d say better than Evian, but I don’t really go out of my way to drink bottled water. It’s just too expensive. Just give me a brita and I’m good to go, Florida tap water taste like crap.
Has anyone seen this show on Showtime called Penn & Teller: ########?
They did this undercover “Punk’d” type bit where there were people at a restaurant and instead of a wine menu they were brought a bottled water menu. They made up fake names and filled all of the bottles with tap water from a garden hose. People tried different “types” of water and said they could taste different things in each one. It was pretty funny.

Bah.. do you know how much “Spring” water (the bottled kind) is actually just regular tap-water but refiltered… I prefer just plain tap water, does the same thing as all the bottled water, but cheaper :D . Evian is good though… I always get it when I fly.

Isn’t the tap water in Houston supposed to be really unhealthy or something :?
