I just completed my mp3players4free.com (crossing fingers hoping it won’t be frozen), and I dunno whether to get the iPod or the money.  I like the iPod, but I think the battery life sucks.  Does anyone have a good suggestion for an mp3 player similar to the iPod but with a better battery life?  I mainly want to use the mp3 player for work, and since I’ll be working 8 hour shifts, I’m afraid it’s going to die out on me, and plus I don’t want make it a routine of charging it before I go to sleep every night because I’m very forgetful.  The H320 sounds cool, but it’s a bit ugly, and I read that it operates slow.  Well, yeah, any suggestions?

Thanks.

the ipod doesnt really die on you that fast, its just the battery icon that makes it seem that its dying but if you keep it on, the battery will start coming back, its hella weird but it does last awhile :|

go for the ipod! :mischeif:

So about how many hours do you really get?  I know it says up to 12, but I’m not expecting that much.

Mine’s been lasting between 6-8 hour’s, but I charge it when there’s about 1/4 power left, due to the type of battery

Nah, I don’t think I can go with the iPod then.  Eh… I really don’t know. This is kinda tough.  I really like the style of the iPod and the chicness, but damn that battery life.  I’ll just have to wait for a 5th generation iPod that hopefully will have at least a 16-20 hour battery life.  I think I might go with the Creative Zen Touch.  Does anyone have one or have used one?
