I thought everything “AOL” sucked.  :|  What’s so good about AIM?

Dead AIM is better .... It’s a AIM hack that takes out the adds and all the anoying features and even puts all your Instant messages in one tab.

Has anyone noticed the new video adds on AIM?

AIM does suck—unfortunately it’s hard to get most of the people I chat with online to agree with me on that, so I’m stuck using it otherwise my communications via the net would be cut off.

aim does suck, but its what everyone is used to. why its better than aol itself? it doesn’t cost 25 bucks a month to use.

i guess aim is alright for teh avg user, but for dorks like us who want more, it sux.

there should be an IM revolution…everyone just stop using aim and switch to….hrm, what should replace it…msn? yahoo? icq? carrier pidgeon?

ive been trying to get everyone i know to switch to yahoo messenger, so far, I have 5.

I use MSN Messenger, and nothing else. If someone has AIM, I just dont talk to them. I figure, Windows Messenger comes installed on XP now, so why add on something else?

Tabbed Messaging, Message Logging, Buddy Alias’, Really nice Skins, shall i go on?

i mostly like AIM cuz i got DeadAIM installed on it. Tabbed Windows is the shyt

😊 I use Middle_Man on my AIM—I was disappointed when DeadAIM stopped using the “talk behind away messages” feature, so I sought out a program with this feature, and voila! There was middle_Man 👏 Not only can I talk behind away messages, I can also display what mp3 I’m listening to on my profile 8) There are some other features too, but those are my favourite

i hate the tabbed windows feature on deadAIM.  tabbed windows makes it too easy to say the wrong thing to the wrong prson…

& xp already groups the windows, so it’s not an issue.

Yea I have the cracked full version of the newest dead aim. It’s pretty cool. Logs entries and everything. But I also use MSN and Yahoo.

I personally don’t like AIM… I have an account but hardly get on unless I’m looking for one of my friends…who I beg to come over to yahoo. Slowly but surely..they are making the move.. yay..soon I can drop AIM..yay!

Ha ha ha .... I use AIM because most people use it. I have dead aim so thats a plus. I use Yahoo too though. I’ve had it for a while and notice more and more people switching. Hopefully there will be tabbed IM there too. I don’t mean using GAIM or Trillian though.

for some reason yahoo is so appealing to me. I just like the way it works. dead AIM… I tried it… still would rather have yahoo.

Sorry, but IMO, I think AIM sucks.  The same with ICQ, since AOL bought them out, ICQ has also gone down the drain.  I’d rather use MSN Messenger rather than AIM, but IMO I think Yahoo Messenger is much better.

With deadAIM, i can strip all the useless crap out of AIM that I don’t need. Just your basic IM client, and i like it. If you don’t want all those features, you can also downgrade to AIM 1.0 (http://www.oldversion.com) and use that instead, it still works just fine!

I use Y!, AIM and MSN so its all good. No favorites here. They all do the same. I just like the tabbed messages of Dead AIM.

I use AIM MSN Y! ICQ and mIRC…so I use trillian…all in one neat and tidy.
