I have heard good things about EphPod, but it doesn’t properly recognize my blue iPod mini.  iTunes is confusing for me, I can’t seem to find a way to make it just add new music to the iPod, 1 or 2 at a time, it seems to me like everytime I add new songs, it’s actually formatting and readding all the songs in the library, and it’s getting longer each time I add songs…am I right, or goin crazy??

you can configure in the options to disable the auto update done by itunes. that way, it just connects to your ipod without spending time syncing and updating.
