2. 3x or higher optic zoom
3. price under $500

The Sony DSC 5.0 megapixel.  It has a huge screen, but is still tiny.

Which is the best digital camera(costs resonable price) to own? Ive been looking into getting one but I’m too lazy to look at all the specs of every camera.

Pretty much looking at the camera have be credit card size small; fit easily in a shirt or pants pocket. Don’t know much about Canon and Casio. I’m sure they are nice cameras. The companies I have been focusing on and it shows up as my bias are Panasonic, Sanyo and Sony.

The Panasonic I can suggest the Lumix DMC-FX7 , Its Optical Image Stabilisation technology corrects for hand-movement to give you clear, sharp imagess and they do take awesome pictures. This could be a great choice for you.

I also like Sony Cybershot DSC-L1 especially the price.

Thanks for your comments. You mentioned the Sony, I was targeting the T3 which will not be destined for the US.

On one hand,  it’s GREAT to have all of these options to choose from in Digital Cameras, but on the other hand, it drives you nuts to make only one purchase.

Maybe you should add the Sanyo Xacti VPC-A5 to your search.
I personally own this camera, it which is compact and light. They fits in your pocket better than others.

sony dsc-t1 or t11….5.1mp, 3x optical, and quite thin. has a 2.5 inch lcd screen. similar specs to the t3…they decided not to bring it to the states cuz the t1/t11 are selling so well.

if you still want the t3 though:  http://www.dynamism.com

they have fun toys.

Sony’s LCD screen are wonderful. Too Bad!! Over my budget. They have fun toys, but expensive though.
