so, according to latimes.com polling as of this morning.

all but one of the states are at least 3% in one direction (kerry or bush). i counted up all of the electoral college votes, and if you disregard the undecided in each state, and give the electoral college votes to whichever candidate is winning that state, you end up with,

265 bush, 269 kerry, with 4 (hawaii) exactly tied, meaning that,

IF hawaii goes to bush in that situation, the two candidates tie, meaning it goes to the house of reps, which has 30 republican voters and 15 democrat voters, meaning that,

unless hell freezes over and the republicans suddenly see the light, Bush wins.

hello loophole in the american voting system.

well, you know, the republicans can’t pull the old

our candidate lost the popular vote by 550,000 votes,
and “won” by one electoral college vote,
that he wouldn’t have won by any form of a recount,
but we’ll just hand it over to the supreme court,
which is right leaning anyway,
so it doesn’t matter what the people say

maneuver twice.

but then again, what I posted up there assumes a lot, so I guess, all I’m saying is that it could really go either way. but it definitely couldn’t go either way if they tied, which is not fair at all.
