I would like the entire song of “It’s the end of the world as we know it.” By REM.  My plan is, to have the song play as my casket is lowered into the grave.  But, we’ll see how it turns out.  Actually, I wont…

The lyrics from “Eclipse” by Pink Floyd…

All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel.
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save.
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy
beg borrow or steal.
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
All that you say.
All that you eat
And everyone you meet
All that you slight
And everyone you fight.
All that is now
All that is gone
All that’s to come
and everything under the sun is in tune
but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

I’ll need a big stone…  😉

I thought you were going to say that line from the Matrix, where everything you see touch and feel, is just electrical signals interpretted to by your brain.

Actualy I always joked I would do one of those tombstones with a picture, like “Loving Mother” and there would be a picture of some old woman.  Except on my stone I would put a totally off the wall picture, like a monkey or Godzilla.  Otherwise the stone would be completely normal with no mention of the picture…  :D

Haha, nice quote. That’s exactly something I would put on my tombstone.

?Veteran of Two Wars. Father of Nine Children. Drowned in the Caspian Sea.?
