I ipod just froze and i cant turn it off.  I dont have the manual with me and dont know what to do.  Someone help me!

i read on forums that holding down the menu and play button at the same time will reset it but somehow mines not working still still in frozen mod!

let the battery die. happen to me 3 times this week. i email hp support yesterday

honda try, turning the Hold button on, off, on then back off, then hold the Menu and Select button till u see the apple logo…

to reset it put it on hold and turn it off again then hold down the menu and select button

try restoring it although it will erase all ur songs

its not goin to do anything. its just frozen. unlike a computer when it freeze and all u need to do is turn it off and back on, u need to let the battery die for the ipod.

Try plugging in the wall adapter that might help reset it.

nuthin is broken. just let the battery die. then recharge it and then its fine again.

Nah man, I already have an ipod and a flatscreen tv, and a computer that’s a lot better than the free one.  I’m just doing it for fun.  Might want to consider the friends thing since you responded to the first post in under 5 minutes… might be time for you to get off the computer.

hondaboi, you might try putting it in disk mode, if you can even get it to reboot to the apple screen.  I’ve fixed a handful of ipods that way.

first since this really doesn’t have to do with free stuff but rather ipod use this is getting moved.

honda, give this a shot: throw it across the room, making sure there is impact between the wall and ipod. if this doesn’t work, trying throwning it onto the floor. cement usually works. that’ll reset it real quick.
