Thank ya, and I hope you all have a wonderful day

Haha ok.

Be confident.
Clean yourself well (no dirt under the fingernails, etc.)
Tell them about what you can do for the company/store/whatever else.
Let them reach to shake your hand, and give them a firm handshake.
I cant really remember the other stuff they taught us in my freshman year class.

Uhhhh… Anyone else?

See, I was told to make up the negatives sorta. Like, to make the negatives seem really positive =\ (i.e., perfectionist)

Negatives: Say “I’m a Perfectionist.”  Heh.

Best thing to do is bring behavioral examples of your strengths.  Tell stories about how you solved problems or improved things.  Also share what sets you apart from other potential candidates.  Lastly, send a thank you note to each person that interviews you.  Yes, it could be more than one.

Holy crap, it’s a job interview for Build-A-Bear —I should send a note?

What sets me apart, eh? I can do that

Yep, send a note.  Out of respect for their time, and to keep you in their minds.

Will do 😊 I know I sound like a baby at all this, but should I literally ask for their address to send the note and whatnot? How should I go about doing it? Because I would definitely do that if it means beaucoup respect points for moi 👏

Google the company or something.  Or look at their business cards.  You should know a little about the Company beforehand anyways.

Ah, yes, I do know stuff about the company!! But I will ask for business cards and their name so I can send a “To The Attention Of:” note as soon as I can. 😊

Retail store 😊 It’s my first job ever!!

By the way, everyone, the interview went fine. I got asked the question, “If I could be any animal in the world, which would I be, and why?”

And not to mention the last question: “Closing time… how would you make it more FUN?! :D:D:D”
