[quote author=“AndruGearLive”]I do - Third Day, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Newsboys…bands like that, which actually sound good and would fit in on “regular” radio stations.
I shoulda known, based on your IGN Avatar.
Yeah a lot of worship music is very off of my style of music, but I do like Third Day, and Switchfoots songs. David Crowder Band is pretty alright too, and my friend said I should check out Delirious.
I listen to Gospel every now and then. I don’t really find an interest in it for some reason. Most of the time I listen to a couple songs that my dad listens to and some things that the Gospel Choir at my school use to sing.
I don’t listen to it on my own, but when I was in high school I used to be in the gospel choir. I’m not religious at all, so it really just happened because I liked singing and had friends in the choir. It was fun singing it though and the audience used to always get all into it. This was from 95-99… I can’t remember the names of the songs or the artists that originally sang them though :|
[quote author=“kle89”]i like some christian bands. Pots of Clay is good.
LOL! Isn’t that JARS of Clay?
I listen almost only to Christian music. I like Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Caedmon’s Call, David Crowder Band, and Lifehouse (lifehouse isn’t officially christian, but some of the songs are undoubtedly about God)
[quote author=“styoshi”]anybody know of any other good indie Christian bands?
If you want bands that arent worship, but they are Christian, I would say listen to Perdro the Lion (his lyrics are kinda gnarly but honest), and mewithoutYou.
