Only works with Windows.

And the above two, and thats it. Oh yeah, and the manual is different.

There’s been buzz about the differences amongst the HP and Apple iPods, with one main difference being that the HP iPod is only compatible with Windows.

Can’t you use both Windows and MacOS with the Apple iPod via iTunes? Doesn’t that make the regular Apple iPod somewhat better?

FAT32 is a different Hd format. Possibily slower performance!

As far as you, the user is concerned, the difference is minimal. The HP iPod is advertised as being Windows only. I am positive that you can change that by formatting the drive. The HP also comes with a nice little sticker you can put on the iPod :|

The back of the unit, which you will RARELY look at, also has the HP logo on it along with the Apple logo.

So the Hp is silver? (i likey :D ) also about warrentys, I have bought cd players and things in the past that have broke, but I was too much of an idiot to save the warranty papers. When you buy something, do you have to send the warrenty in when you get it, or send it in when product breaks?

Also are the apple and hp EXACTLY same size and everything, because I was wondering if the cases and stickers would work on both..

Same Color Same Size.  You could get it to work on the Mac or PC if you just did a reformat on it with the upgrade utility.

Comes with a sticker, and HP logo on the back.

From what I have heard the HP model is actually just made by Apple anyways. Apple is using HP’s market share to reach more buyers.
