Well, I’ve discovered this morning 1 good way not to wake up—
Get up at 9:30 when your supposed to start at 8—realize the power went out last night, and reset all of your clocks times, and not realize what time it really is until you sit down to post some morning posts at GL, and notice that it’s not really 6am…god that sucks.
yeah, this morning wasn’t fun at all…good thing is I don’t really have a ‘boss’ to report to, so nobody said anything about it or even cared, it’s just that you feel like your behind for the rest of the day…ugh.
I went to bed this morning at 1 and I got back up at 5 to continue packing…getting ready for the camping trip, I’m leaving early today from work and man am I tired.
ya, i figured out why there was a spot to put a 9v battery in my alarm clock even though its got a plug. my alarm is pretty good about keeping the time though, if its just an outtage for under 5 min, it actually keeps the time (without a battery in it) which i like. i started keeping a battery in it though after the power went out once for about 2hrs…boy did that suck. which reminds me, i need to buy a ups for el pooter.

I have the 9V battery in mine too and you can listen to music with just the battery in it which is good for if the power goes out and you need to listen to weather conditions
