how do you get the invites? i run 4 websites, am on a lot of technology websites. i figured i would get invites to hand out but no luck |

google randomly hand out invites. You can tell if u got invites by checking under “Labels” on the left side. If you got invits there should be something like “Invite a friend to gmail” in red letters. If you dont see anythin then you havent got any yet. |

i dont think gmail is gonna open up for a public free for all…i think they’ll just slowly leak it out, by handing out invites to people, haha.
at this point, i figured everyone had a gmail account by now. |

i just noticed my invites in my box today, so i sent 2 out to the people i had promised them to, but now i have 4 left…and i need 4 more referrals…imagine that |

I don’t really care much for gmail just because I delete all of my email after I read it. Kinda obsessive compulsive. I do like the idea of larger attachments though. |

People keep telling me that gmail is the best thing out there with its 1gb storage. What if you already have your own domain and email address. Set it up to Outlook and thier are no storage limits. It’s all saved on your computer.
But while we’re on the gmail topic, anyone know how to set gmail up on Outlook or any other kind of pop3 email program? |

Search google for “Pop Goes the Gmail”, it downloads to your favorite email client via pop. Google is also working on native POP3 access.
Yeah, I do that, too. I have my own domain, and just have my mail coming to outlook. But i also use gmail. |
