Is iPod real?
Scientists have found no conclusive evidence that the iPod exists. All we have are large quantities of people who have taken to jogging while listening to music, but don’t seem to be carrying CDs or cassetes or even FM radios (which obviously don’t mean much) and a few alleged sightings, some of which are known to be fake.
There is a lot of interesting information about the iPod legend. Of course it’s to be taken with a grain of salt. Where did the iPod come from? Why do people believe it exists?
Whether or not “iPod” is real, the “iPod phenomenon” is real. This idea was first enunciated by Steve Jobs, in his website “Apple.com”. The “iPod phenomenon” is the certain fact that we continue to receive “iPod” sighting reports, and we continue to find instances of iTunes installed on Windows based computers. Someone is installing this software, and something is being seen in the Pacific Northwest by human observers. These illusive iPod listeners download their music to listen. Not many people know where to purchase an iPod, leading many to denounce their existance as a hoax.
If the “iPod phenomenon” is mostly caused by deliberate human fabrication, the written stories suggest it’s been a long term hoax operating over a 5 year time span, and all across the United States and Canada. It could not be caused by a single hoaxer, since no one individual can listen to that much music in a single timeframe, but could be caused by one or more groups of hoaxers.
