Ive been listening to Maktub for a while now, and now that they’re in the middle of recording their next album it seemed like a good time to get the word out. Their music is a mix of R&B, soul, funk, and…uh, well, their website has a couple full songs to download so you can listen for yourself.
For those of you who would like to see them live, their next date is in Seattle, The Showbox on the 10th. I, unfortunately, have yet to see them live, since the Showbox is ALWAYS 21 or over when Maktub is playing, even though theres no explicit language.
