Unless you click the little iPod button in the bottom right corner and choose to only sync certain playlists or have it completely manual where you drag anything you want over.

When you sync your iTunes to your iPod, does it send over all of your playlists?

I have about 50 gb of music.  At first Itunes synced everything over.  Then after a trip to the local Itunes store, one of their “gurus” told me uncheck each song.  So after trudging my way through my library unchecking, Itunes did it again.

So now I use Real Player for it. Which works awesome. And the 49cent music from the store is great too. I use Itunes just as a house music server and to snag the free weekly song.

You just have to set it to go manually and then you just drag whatever you want over.  The music from real will not always be cheaper, and if they ever go out of bussiness and your music will disapear.  :(
