[quote author=“Tighr”]Friend of mine had to do jury duty, and you stay on the list until you get a case, I think. Anyway, she got like 12 dollars a day, and she had to miss work. Which sucked, because you make more than 12 dollars at work.
I got called to do jury duty when I was living in France. My dad got the letter and was like, “Uhhhhhhhhhh… he’s over there” and then he pointed east. =P jk
I don’t know about rest of you, but I don’t think he “raped” that girl. I think they had consenual sex, like Kobe says, and then she wanted something out of it, he was like, “no”, she was like “dude I tell your wife” and then she went and alleged rape. Who knows. But it does seem very unlikely that a rape happened.
Haha, yeah. Well, if he is convicted, he MUST spend time in jail because that is the minimum requirement Colorado allows for rapists. There is no “probation” or time off or slap on the wrist or house arrest, there is a mandatory minimum jail term.
So I don’t think he’ll get convicted, and therefore no jail time.
Yeah, he probably won’t. Since the “alleged victim” said she does not want to continue with the criminal case. Instead she is trying to file a civil one ...I think.
[quote author=“hmbldtgrl”]why lie, just say you are a huge laker fan and then, just like that.. you get to go home… the pay sucks!
