I usually just use the tape deck connector that plugs into the headphone jack. iTrip might be ok, but I always have mine on shuffle, and when you install the itrip software on your ipod it creates a playlist with all the stations available and when one of the stations in the playlist comes up when its on shuffle it makes an annoying chirping noise. I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if i didnt use the shuffle, but i almost always have it on, and that chirping is so damn annoying! :( |

Ack, I have mine on shuffle all the time too. Man!! Oh well—I would use the tape deck, but there’s no cassette player in cars these days :( |

there is also those ones that you plug in through the headphone jack and send the signal through an FM station. I have one and I like it, i just dont remember where I put it….lol… |

In any event, isn’t that what the iTrip does? SEnds a signal to an FM station?
itrip makes ur ipod get fm signal.
the thing lets u listen to ur ipod through ur cars speakers. |

OK I am here to clear things up…
iTrip plugs into your iPod and transmits the audio to an FM station. The iTrip is cool because it works off the iPods power (no batteries needed) and the other thing is you can pick any station on the dial (other FM transmitters only allow like 4 channels in the lower range).
iTrip DOES NOT allow you to recieve FM signals…
