not too shabby…i used to buy oakleys all the time. i’ve gone through 2 pairs of 5’s, 2 pairs of square wires, and a pair of why3’s…i have a discount tho, so that made buying them not so painful.

i still have my square wire 2.0’s with square hinges and my why3’s, but i bought a pair of maui jim’s, and i wear those more often now. polarized lenses rule. 8)

haha, no it was as bad as critics said…but i was expecting it, and couldn’t care less. i was hoping for more a vs p and less xena warrior princess tho.

in other news,  i just paid for last year’s tuition (2600, ouch) and i’ll prolly head up there to pay for this year’s tuition, now that i just registered for my classes. i hate this, the moment i thought i had money….. 😢

I’ve decided to buy a pair of Grey Oakley A Wire 2.0s. My current pair of sunglases is Ray Ban polarized Raiders, and my previous two pairs have also been Ray Bans (One of them was a Predator, and the other pair I can’t remember). I looked at Ray Ban models for my fourth, but I just fell in love with the A Wires. Gonna get mine at about 60% off retail, though.

I used to design their packaging as an intern.  I had a friend who used to work in the customer service department and would get unhappy customers all day! Apparently they break and scratch easily.  Now for a sports designed pair of glasses shouldn’t they be made better or at least cheaper.  It cost them like 25 cents to make the darn things and they start selling them at $100.  Seems strange to me but hey that is just me.  I also got 75% off and would let all my friends abuse my discount. They make cool glasses but geez either make them cheaper or make them with better material.  That was my piece about Oakley.. I am done now.

she’s got a point. oakleys scratch up so easily, main reason why i stopped buying them (unless i find a REALLY sweet lookin pair). I would only use microfiber on those suckers, a t-shirt could even leave tiny marks. Maui Jim’s have a great scratch proof coating. i’ve thrown them in my pocket and they come out pristine…with a lil pocket lint of course 😊 the only scratches i have on my maui jim’s are from when i was really drunk, running, and they fell off my shirt collar and took a huge spill on the concrete. but the scratches were just on the bottom edge of the lens, so its hardly noticable.
