does anyone have one.

does it work well?
any fuzziness to it….is it clear?
how long does the battery last with it?

i’d really like to get one in the next few weeks.
it’d be SO MUCH better than burning everything i have to CD’s.

and i’d like to get a specific itrip, because it runs off the ipods battery, instead of needing its own.

i broke down and picked one of these things up this afternoon.

actually works pretty good.  sounds clear (obviously it’s not going to be perfect—-sounds a lot like a fm station that you’re getting good reception on)

i love it though….i can just lay it in my lap and flip through songs.  don’t even have to lean forward to reach my stereo….lol….it’s all at my fingertips.

only problem i have is interference when my electric seatbelt goes back and fourth (but not when it’s locked in either position)

get one—-it’s worth the $30 if you drive a lot.

Great, so walking the streets is still safe for me.  😉

http://www.proclipusa.com has some nice car mounts for the iPod and Dell DJ.  I think I’m gonna get one for my car.

It’s an FM transmitter for the iPod. You plug it in your iPod, set your radio station to a specific FM frequency (which you specify and setup in iTunes as playlists) and your iPod plays through it, with no wires needed.

They work ok, but if you have a cassette deck I would recommend a cassette adapter. Better sound quality and cheaper.

i remember these fmsending things… i seem to remember them always being a bit fuzzy sounding though.  i’d rather spend an extra $50 and get a line out jack hooked up to my car stereo…

yeah i think i’ll just stick with my cassette adapter.. what i really need for my car is a new set of speakers.. my car is from 83 a vw rabbit haha.  I love her but when I drive the speakers just randomly go in and out and they sound terrrriblleee.. it’s really terrrrible.

but whatever I won’t be driving it much more.. except for on the weekends maybe.. It will be in my mom’s hands while i’m at school.. haha.

Anyone that’s got a tape deck and the iTrip… is it worth it to get the iTrip?  I don’t want to blow 30 bucks for crappy sound quality and a sleeker look.

I bought an iTrip a week ago…i hate it with a passion. On NONE of the freq. can I get a somewhat clear signal. I have no cassette player so its a must. I had an old FM transmitter before….uses batteries, but it actually worked. On the iTrip site they claim to have the best. HA. Taking it back tomorrow. DON"T BUY IT. Buy one from belkin. I’m serious. It’s a pain, but it works (sounds just as good as a cassette adapter would (better)).
