Various techno songs that I am into right now (with some scattered info on each song):

Aliz?e - “Veni, Vedi, Vici”: French song—it looks Italian, but trust me, it’s French 😛

ATB feat. The Wild Strawberries - “Let U Go”: This ATB album (Two Worlds) is really old by now, but still *really* good. This particular song was made in collaboration with a Canadian band (Gohan’s people be iz represented! Ha!), and the vocals in this song are just amazing to me. I wish I had his voice!

ATB feat. York - “The Fields Of Love”: Another song from the Two Worlds album—no phenomenal vocals, but still not that bad. I like the music more in this particular song, but the other ATB song has excellent music to match the vocals as well.

O-Zone - “Dragostea Din Tei”: Romanian people make such weird music, but it really grows on you! So give this song a chance! This song has been a hit all over Europe since this past summer. It’s about sex under a linden tree! Haha!

Origa - “Inner Universe”: I took this song from a new Anime that’s been showing on Adult Swim. I forget the name of the Anime, but it’s got vocals from these Chinese women (I think women..? Or just one female) singing a mystical Russian song. It still strikes me as bizarre that the Japanese would use a Chinese song with Russian lyrics for the beginning and end credits to one of their shows.

Tess - “The Second Step”: Sweden churned out an awesome trance artist with Tess. There isn’t much to say about this song other than it’s just another good trance-ish song that I’m into right now as well. 😊

Hope these reviews offer some new musical insight to you guys! I suggest you download a couple of these mp3s at least. 👏 Talk to y’all later

[quote author=“Dennis”]DJ Tiesto is currently ranked the worlds number 1 DJ. If you want to know why, download DJ Tiesto- sweet mysery, or Adagio for strings.

Thank goodness someone had the sense to post this.
Read through page two where Tiesto was mentioned then dismissed and almost wet myself.

Paul Oakenfold has some nice stuff as well.
Recently got into some Armen Van Buuren.  Very nice mixes.

Seems like a lot of Dance in this thread, not many into Trance/Techno/House/Electronic?

What are some songs that they do? I’m doing a search for them, and “Walk On Water” seems like the most popular one from them. Is that the song that you like? Or is there another one? Or more? =P

Yeah..same for me w/Armin Van Buuren.  Has some great songs…I’m into The Longest Day (the long 10 minute mix) right now…awesome song IMO.

I like a lot other kinds of electronica such as acid and w/e.  Speaking of that..Kai Tracid is really great.  His style is trance…but roots of songs are acid.

Haven’t checked out anything new for a while but an old favorite has always been dj doboy. Can’t reccommend any specific mixes but I have liked all that I heard.

And you guys know about digitallyimported.com right? I know it is kind of obvious but didn’t see anyone post about it. Nice place to find new stuff and listen to live streams. I saw Kidd did have it in his sig though 😉.

He’s mostly mainstream stuff but very clean.

You can listen to streams on his own site:

http://www.djdoboy.com/mixes/mixes.html

Or you can find/here him on DI quite a bit. I love digitially imported though…you can just connect and listen all day and hear a lot of great dj’s.
