depending on how many frames it has, ur going to prly need to kill some colors, quality and maybe drope some frames… on the top menu go to
WINDOW - > choose Optimize. That lil tool tip window will let u mess with the export settings.

Adobe ImageReady (that comes with PS) also does this, and allows you to “save for web” and compress it down with different quality formats.

I have an animated GIF thats like 112 kb but the forum that I want to use it for only lets ones that are less then 15 kb.  I didnt see a save for web option in imageready.

Anyways, I think 50Kb is a rediculously small amount of space. I’m still trying to get my .gif down to that but I can’t seem to yet.

Also I don’t see the save for web option either. It only shows up in Photoshop.

Edit- I was able to shrink my image down using this:
http://www.spinwave.com/crunchers.html
3 Simple Steps:
1. Crunch
2. Save crunched image
3. Re-crunch
Keep doing this until its under 50kb.
