More people are consuming vegetable salads. However, do you know that a hamburger or a plate of fries can actually be a healthier choice than a bowlful of salad? Most of the time, salads that are prepared at restaurants or fast-food joints are not the healthiest dishes on their menu.

Salads are generally thought of healthy but this is not always the case, depending on what ingredients you put into it and also on top of it.

Toppings such as bacon bits and croutons contain unhealthy fats and can add a serious number of calories to the meal. Additionally, nuts and seeds are a healthier option but also contain a lot of calories. If you are not particularly worried about losing weight, then there is no cause for concern, as nuts are a good source of protein and essential polyunsaturated fats that the body needs.

Salad is the mixture of different vegetables, today many different types of salads are available. I had read this and I am very much impressed with this. I highly prefer to take salad with food and it really helps in being healthy. There are lots of benifits of salad, and many ways to make it more impressive.

Salads are really useful for health and to loose weight, i agree if put fried bacon or dry fruits etc, its add too much calories, i always perefr salad topped with lemon juice , salt and black peper some time dash of olive oil good to go

I have to admit that ive never read the nutrition info on reg bacon. All the fat that comes off of it tho cant be good (even tho it makes amazing Gravy lol) and no fat comes off the Turkey bacon.

For me 1/4 a cup of 2% cheese at 140cal (if i remember right) is alot. But im a gooey cheese girl…... shredded doesn’t do it for me LMAO
