Every day more gamers want to know how to burn Xbox 360 games so they can protect their favorite games from getting damaged. It makes sense since these games can cost up to $60 each and replacing them isn’t cheap.
Some methods to burn and back up your games involve modifying your Xbox 360 so you can play the burned game. However, modifying an Xbox for this purpose can be difficult for some people to do.
The good news is there is a much easier way to go about burning your games. The easiest Xbox 360 burning game method is to allow a unique software to do all the work for you.
Now to do this you will first need the Xbox game file, which is also known as ISO. If you are using Windows you can rip the Xbox game which copies all the content from the disc to an ISO file.
The other way is to download the ISO itself from a website. Some websites have an ISO file for just about every game you can think of.
Now that you’ve downloaded and extracted your ISO file you will need to allow the game copier software you downloaded and installed onto your computer to put the ISO data onto a blank disc.
The software will make sure the ISO file is a legit copy of the game. Now open the ISO file and click launch at the bottom of the program. This will open up a terminal window and will process your file.
Once this verification is complete it is now ready to be placed on a blank disc, which will be your back up copy. The software will create a specific layer break in the disc which is necessary for the Xbox to read it.
Now open the program and click the open icon and select your game file. As soon as it loads the ISO in that program then insert your dual layer DVD blank disc into your DVD drive and then click burn.
Once the burning process is complete you’ll be able to play your back up copy. Meanwhile, your favorite Xbox 360 game will be stored away safely for long term preservation.
