I currently have a fat PS3 80GB and probably won’t upgrade to a new PS3 slim. I have heard that the new PS3 Slim is much quieter and looks much more sleak. The only issues I have seen are that you can’t load linux on it.

Ya that is the problem with all PS… I have heard the same from my friends also that it will not support to linux…
