Need some help/suggestions regarding computer that wont load intermittently.
Started months ago, vista would load, CPU maxes out for 3 minutes, then windows would continue loading normally, except for error message as follows:
RunDLL.exe
“Error loading C:\windows\system32\wvUnLCVP.dll
The specified module cannot be found”
This would only occur after having pressed the reset button on the computer because computer stops loading before windows starts loading, all that appears is a flashing white cursor on a black screen, when u reset, computer loads as per above.
Over the past couple days computer occasionally doesnt even get to this stage and says that the CPU fan has failed or isn’t fast enough, error resolves on reset, this has occurred twice now.
Of course, with the required resets and waiting for a few minutes every time vista loads, computer is otherwise fully functional.
Upon inspection inside computer all 3 fans seem to be running fine (CPU, GPU, PSU ? case has no separate fans)
Have since put a new HDD formatted with vista, still same CPU fan error on restart. This is consistent with the CPU fan error message occuring before windows even starts to load.
Any help is appreciated
thanks
