We’re at the point in both of their careers now where every year can be considered a retirement year. At 38 it must be a little bit more likely for Selanne to call it quits than for Nidermayer (35).

Keep in mind that with the continued development of Getzlaf, Perry and Ryan, this could be a pretty dangerous team for as long as Niedermayer can still compete at the professional level.
