Andru,

The last couple months I have not been able to view the divx files.  I’ve tried installing the latest version of divx but not matter what it still says error downloading codec and only plays audio.  Can you find out exactly what codec and version the divx video’s are encoded in?

Thanks,
J

We use the open XviD codec. Let me know if that helps!

I installed XviD-1.1.0-30122005 _Final Release_ and its still a no go.

Gspot identifies the codec 4C as FMP4 but I can’t really find out which codec that is.  Can you tell me where you installed your version of xvid from?

I use a program called VLC as my primary media player of choice, and it handles the files quite nicely. Let me know!
