ABC and FOX are both bringing Japanese game show to U.S. TV sets. Will this new trend inspire other networks to follow with wacky game shows of their own, or will this new trend prove to be a short-lived fad?

There was a show that was on a TV network, I think it was Spike and the show was called MXC or something. It was hilarious and I loved watching it until my TV provider changed the channels and now, I don’t get it anymore, haha. I think game shows in Japan are absolutely funny and well, I don’t think they’re bad. If the network has room for a game show, then I say, go for it. I watched Wipeout last night and a bit of “Survived Japanese Game Show” and they weren’t too bad. They’re just a show that one can watch when he/she is bored, you know? It’s just guilty pleasure and having a laugh now and then, haha. As for it being a new trend, I doubt it, but I guess we’ll see in the next few months/years.
