I have a big screen tv and i wanted to know if i could get my computer to hook up to it

@rezbel, what type of computer do you have? if you have a desktop, what video card do you have? if you have a laptop, you can use the S-Video output to connect it to the tv. (most tvs have this)

Often on the back of the more expensive and newer big screen TVs there will be a monitor input.  However, if there is not that, look to see if you have an s-video port on your laptop/computer which you can use to hook into the TV.  In addition, you can use the headphone jack to connect to the audio-in port on your TV so it is like using your computer on your TV!  I use the s-video setup all the time when I want to watch an episode like House that I have on my computer but do not want to spend the time to burn to DVD.
