Cleaning CDs

Yes basically the stuff they sell “will” help you clean your CDs…if you’re really lazy.  In worst cases scenario, in worst case scenario water (or even a small portion of…toothpaste and water) and then gently cleaning with a soft clog in a circular fashion (center of the CD being the center of rotation) and it should do the trick…not guaranteed to work though.

my sister used to put them in the toilet and flush them… it worked. and YES she made sure it was clean before doing so… geeze.

I use rubbing alcohol and a soft cotton cloth.  I don’t use paper towels as they are linty and a cheap paper towel will scratch.  Sometimes I just use the cleaning wipes for my eyeglasses.

Windex and some paper towel work wonders.

That’s what NetFlix recommends people do if the movies that arrive won’t play.  I dunno…I was always under the impression we weren’t supposed to use paper towels because they would leave scratches, but maybe I was thinking of eyeglasses.

i have glasses as most do and i use my eye glass cleaner on them or put them in a tub of water… can u say micro fiber cloth for glasses/ psp works good

I have used this too, and it works very well.  I love the micro fiber cloths, they are soft and work really well on greasy fingerprint smudges.
