My role model is my mom, definitely my mom. She is just such a strong and devoted person and I have always looked up to her. She is everything to me and well, she teaches me everything too. 😊 I think role models truly have a huge impact on who we will become in the future and I look towards my mom for strength and encouragement whenever I can. Hollywood has a couple of amazing role models too, such as Carrie Underwood or Angelina Jolie. They are just so humble, friendly and helpful to everyone that I look up to them sometimes too. The media helps us look at role models and from there, we can decide who truly is a role model and who isn’t.

For Angelina Jolie, I was thinking more on her humanitarian work and that she is helping by donating money and everything. She is a fantastic role model now and sure, she did do some weird things in the past, but who hasn’t. She loves her family very much and protects her children from the crazy media that follows them around. In the end, she is a role model to myself and I know she probably isn’t to a lot of people, but that is your own opinion and I respect it. Everyone has different role models and as long as it’s not a crazy, drug-user or alcohol user, that’s fine.

She is really great in doing all this social welfare things like donating money like what you have said, like that they are lots of people doing that, like consider bill gates, every year he is doing a lot of social welfare,
He spent most of his money till now, to find the cure for biggest disease in this world “Aids”

How many people actually knows the real things about Gandhi ? If you knew, you wouldn’t have made him your role model. There are a lot of things which not many people knows about him.And i don’t want to discuss them in public.Anyways, my role model is me.I don’t wanna be like someone.I just wanna be me.

My role model would probably be Bill Gates—sounds sort of cliche with it being a tech site and all, but he has been so successful and has done so much with his life, and yet he is also one of the biggest philanthropists.  Shows you can be successful and generous at the same time.

Ah, yes, great point BuckeyeFanatic25, I think role models do vary a lot depending on what you are looking at. As you mentioned, Bill Gates is so successful and a great role model in the successful field. Also, role models can be occupations too, such as doctors or firefighters and sure does not have to be a specific person.

yes many famous people have loads of many and just lead the most screwed up lives- like brittany spears, no offense to fans
but bills a philanthropist, and definitely someone to look up to
