I know a lot of people are interested in transforming xp to look like vista, so since my buddy sushrukh got that topic covered i thought id do linux. The pack is called Linsta (can u guess where they got the name? lol) and i have used it before. i think its fairly accurate! though this isnt an exact replica of it, it looks very close and was meant to simulate it while still having a bit of the authors own style put into it
so check out the transformation pack here!

no…. most people just use it because they like it
and no matter the persons views on windows performance i think vistas theme is pretty sweet
the default theme for ubuntu is kinda lame- it looks a bit flat so many users like changing it up

I personally think the Ubuntu theme is more eye-candy than Vista… especially the Firefox. The Ubuntu theme for Firefox is WIN, no debate necessary. The Ubuntu theme messes up in Windows though. And I love my Code Geass R2 background. Ubuntu has the wallpaper option Windows will never have: ZOOM IN!!!! :D
However, thanks for the link, I might try it out sometime just for the heck of it.

lol which variation of ubuntu are u running???? XD
i have the general “ubuntu” cd and the toolbars are flat and beige….. its kinda ugly
i like the 3d black bars
but i did leave the new default background though, its a really cool red with little designs everywhere and a painting of what looks like a pheonix.
eh, ill probably change it to a picture of system of a down :cheese:

Umm, use this as your screensaver image?

I guess you could run Vista as a VM inside Linux. Then you could have the stability of Linux too. For myself I’ll stick with dual booting for now.

Great info buddy.Though i’m not very confident in Linux (and not using it personally) but i’ll let some of my online friends know about it who may find this very useful.Thank you for sharing. 😊
