TiVo has also begun offering a bundled lease set-up where you can pay no more upfront and pay a combined monthly fee for the service and hardware.  Last I saw was around $16.95 or so for the old series 2.  Have not seen the new pricing.

I know the Series 3 is expected to come out later on this year and will accept cable cards and dual-tuners and be high def.  I personally own 8 TiVos including many directivos, and one HD DirecTivo.  I am a big TiVo fanatic. 😊
