Hell, it’s about time. I’m liking the shiney. I’m expecting pretty standard RTS play as far as the gameplay goes. I’ve never really gotten into a Blizzard game since Warcraft II, come to think of it ...
I like the idea of a second game. I was never the biggest fan of RTS games because the genre seems repeatedly shoved down my throat as a PC gamer, but I did enjoy Starcraft quite a bit. Anyways, I’ll only judge this game as being good or bad once it comes out and then see it if it has as much substance as style.
I can’t wait until Starcraft 2, it looks like a fantastic game and I still play Starcraft now and then when I’m bored. 😊 The trailer is quite stunning and the graphics are great and so crisp.
December 2008, that’s way earlier than what the Blizzard team was setting ETA for!! Can’t wait :D

I don’t really like the new graphics engine everything looks too Disney and I’m constantly reminding people that it’s a dark sinister game which should have dark and shady graphics, not ones that you would find in stuff like… I don’t know… The Incredibles? <_<
You can’t exactly prove it without giving some examples. I played tons of similar games and none beat StarCraft, although they were no the same caliber. There’s Fate of the Dragon, Zeus: Master of Olympus, and Caesar II and Caesar III.
@DrWho - Everyone has different tastes in games, I bet there are many games that you dislike and all of that. 😉 Simply put: Starcraft 2 is just a neat game that’s fun.
If it has the Use-Map-Settings option, i guess you can rate my caring at like 10%. If there is on UMS option, then rate me at 0%. I suck at RTS games because I only play to get the big units and just go all out…lol…tactics suck. That is why UMS is so fun in StarCraft 1…no brains necessary :-D.
I actually hate playing strategy,MMo & RTS type of games.Only games that would interest me are the FPSes but yes we all naturally have different tastes in games. 😊

With world of warcraft keeping me busy I hope I dont get caught on both these games. When will i have time to sleep!
With that said starcraft was classic. This should turn out to be an incredible game. I’m hoping for the best because there is so much expectation going to be placed on this game. Hopefully it can keep it up.
